Rosa is always good in the Italian fall races. And Thibaut likes to ride in this part of the world. I'd say one of will make the podium.

I'd point to Nibali as the favorite even though San Luca doesn't suit him. But yeah, the names mentioned should be in contention, and I'd also point towards Yates, Henao, Pozzovivo and Pinot. Martin could be an outsider as well.

I love this race; well, at least the last 40km. I always think of the Madonna di San Luca as like a deluxe version of Mur de Huy, but doing it four times in a row gives the edge to pure climbers over the puncheurs.
I think Pinot will go very well - he must have been targetting this week since he quit the Tour, and the Lombardia course looks great for him as well.

Ulissi is apparently the 2nd most chosen rider in the PCS game for Giro dell'Emilia, so it looks like the expectations are high for him as well.
If it's not won by one of the strong climber types, then Bakelants is a good bet. He looked like he's in great form. First top 5 in Canada and then a very good showing in Wallonie earlier this month, although he came up short against the collective the strength of the Lotto team.GenericBoonenFan said:
