What does that have to do with anything? Throughout the race, Van Wilder has just been a black smudge at the back of the picture, quite difficult to see or get much impression of. Of course he would be the more obvious pick if you were to guess at a DSM rider in the group but come on!
The entire week, it's been Van Wilder that has made the main group. Not Donovan. Van Wilder was 3rd in Avenir (and these commentators, also watch the biggest U23 race). Van Wilder was 3rd at the Euro U23 ITT, Van Wilder was top of the class in his junior years... he's known for his compact size, for a professional commentator not to see the difference between a small rider and a tall one, while judging from his comments afterwards that he actually does know both riders, yeah, i find that quite laughable. Good for you that you like amateurism like that.

And there is a difference between expressing doubt, and continuously pretending you know who the rider is. He's said it was Donovan at least 3 times, without any sign of "hey, maybe it could be another rider". Regardless of knowing their size, Van Wilder has made the main group every stage. Donovan not once.

Did you really bother to type this up while the stage was finishing?
