I actually kinda agree that Roglic doesn't look great, but I don't think that 2nd group isn't working anywhere near good enough for them to benefit from that.

I think there's a possibility Roglic blows up. But whatever happens in the last 20km, hats off to him. He certainly deserves the overall win. For the stage win I fancy Gaudu.

Vingegaard as 2nd is in incredible good position if Pogačar group catch Roglič. Both Slovenians lost a lot of energy while Vingegaard driving on Pogačar wheels seems the most fresh.

Why not? it was clearly they wouldn't have done any work unless the chase comes down to 20s. Roglic's main concern is not to crack on Arrate. He is tired, Gaudu/Carthy would already have the 1st chance on Arrate.

If Gaudu had attacked there I don't think Roglic could have followed but I just don't think it matters. No way he is losing enough time if he starts Arrate 1 minute before the 2nd group.

Because the other 2 would then look at eachother. And if they both crack, roglic will have to go for the stage anyway
