Well. That position is not normal if you are not sick or you are being told to drop because he needs to work for Vlasov in the incoming stages. But he was almost last so I think it was the first one. Yeah, a bit over-reaction but he was going really well a week ago. You just don't drop the form like that.Retiring? Seems like a bit of an overreaction...

Only friday could see some rain at the end of the stage, saturday could have some light rain but will probably stay dry, the cold front with go by thursday night

After Kuss got dropped, no steep enough sections, apparently somebody started editing Vingegaard wiki page and left some inappropriate comments.

Evenepoel again with a good lead out but likely the duo started a bit to early today. In addition don't reveal your "secret plans" yelling in front of the camera. Today was a nice race. A lot of action involved. Thomas did a good job. So did Ineos as a whole. Yates after constantly trying to put the leader under pressure. As for the way Rogla raced today. I feel that he was racing rather confident today. He had Vingegaard and i feel that occasionally he "positioned bad" intentionally. Likely he even wanted for competition to try to attack in some areas. Like that flat section. I doubt he wanted to win today. As that would be just wasting energy that will be needed in stages yet to come.

However, the climbs are not as steep as today. The 10% climb is 3 climbs from the finish. The other gradients are more suitable to his diesel style than was the 13% climb today
First 2-2,5km of last climb are 10% average though. Latter part is pretty much false flat.

Nah, Vingegaard was chasing down attacks. The very attacks Kuss' presence is meant to prevent from happening.
The false flat part would favor Remco, however. They'd need to drop him at the start of the climb

Damn I love this route so far. This is how the Basque Country should be!
"2-2,5km @ 10%" doesn't quite cover it though.
Looks like 1 km which is brutal for Remco, but the final 5 favors him big time. They must drop him in km 2
Jonas looked on fire in stage 3. I have a hard time rating him below Roglic anymore, if they were on opposing teams that would be the battle here by far.
