Not the other way round? You're starting to slack...
Well let's be honest. Even as a big Masnada fan and someone who sees his true talent, Remco would be ahead of him after the first stage ITT. Fausto time trial is he's weakness.

So then Rmeco have the gc position. He can rest more in stages 2 to 4 because Fausto could lead out JA like he lead out Bagioli (for 4km!!!) in the volta Catalunya.

Fausto is a gracious guy, he likes to see his teammate succeed like his own success.

And alaphilippe would win stages 3 and 4.

Fausto is a racer, an attacker, an entertainer. In stages 5 and 6 he would be in the attack. Let's say he follow the move from Bilbao. He is now a threat to take the race lead. Remco can rest in the pelootn again.

If fausto isn't brought back he drops bilbao, wins the stage and the gc.

If Fausto is brought back remco is fresh like a daisy. Boom he hits the front with Alaphilippe and Vervecke. Drops roglic and vingegaard who are tired from working all day.

It's a no brainer. Jumbo could learn from this.

Kuss dropped/called back from the breakaway?

Edit: sitting 30 seconds back with Samitier so probably dropped. If so, Jumbo could well be down to Vingegaard and Roglic very early tomorrow.

Is Bilbao still lurking or was he just slowly heading back earlier rather than sitting up completely?
