The most interesting thing so far is figuring out why the KOM was on a small kicker after 2 kilometres of descending from the actual highest point.

UAE aren't wokring for Covi or Ulissi?

QS for Alaphilippe?

Bora has too many leadier to work for Higuita

AG2r are too useless to work for Vendrame

None of the actually-decent teams wanted to be in the breakaway, none of them wanted to pull back the breakaway, and it's not like all of them have a strong GC option to look after. UAE and AG2R should have been all over this stage, and maybe QS too.

Not sure who is riding worse, the peloton or the break. Not sure why the break is playing games or why the peloton is riding piano

Nobody rages this bad at the 4 or more useless breakaway stages per GT
I also complain when it's the Vuelta, which is easily the worst GT for this kind of garbage.

Would be particularly bad if the break fails to make it against a peloton that hasn't even bothered to mount a half-decent chase.
