Never seen someone close the door so hard only to sprint that badly, but it's whatever. Nice win for Higuita after getting chopped the other day.

We're lucky yesterday way overdelivered cause this Itzulia has been very lethargic.

I think Higuita is strong enough these days to mix it with Vingegaard and Landa tomorrow, but he starts every freakin climb back in Andalucia. I was wondering if it's him or the team as they don't have a very strong squad here, but today there postioning was very good... but Higuita was missing behind Buchmanns wheel for the most time. I think it's a peletion riding IQ thing or he doesn't take risks and then gets pushed out of place. In 3 to 4 occasions this week he was at critical points either in the wheel of Buchmann or Aleotti but then didn't go with there accelerations to drift back into the Peleton to a random wheel. Positioning also cost him a lot at Lombardia and LBL last year. Ok Bora don't have guys like Denz, Haller, Politt or Konrad here who can really push hard into a climb in the positioning battle but I thought Lipowitz and Aleotti did a good job today but Higuita seemed to be freelancing or loosing the wheel

Higuita is such a strong rider. Like e.g. Gaudu he is one of the few riders that can really mix it with the top talent on his day, but he isn't consistent enough, bad at positioning and really not on his top level in GTs. That being said he's winning a lot or getting Top results. I hope Bora brings him to the Ardennes but they need to figure out how they can guide him to the front of the race better.
