That curve didn't look that bad and weather was good. However it seemed like there was some sand on the corner and that was enough. At the same time there were some big boulders and concrete ditch. So probably some protection was called for.

Cycling really needs to do more to ensure better safety to the riders. This has to be the priority.

There is 3 riders down still I think. Vingegaard, EF and a 3rd in another ditch, he isn't being filmed. (I think he moved his legs once).

He was definitely moving his legs around right after he crashed.

Evanepoel and Roglic seem "relatively" okay. Tesfatsion too.

Looks like Evanepoel might have broke a rib or a collarbone...
Roglic looks like unless running on adrenadline is just banged up.

Vingegaard looks bad. Is is Vine who was at bottom of the ditch?

Then is it Sean Quinn also looked pretty banged up?

This is a horrible thing to even have to consider. We are talking about top riders of a generation here.

He was second in the peloton and was the first or second to go down.

He is likely the single most talented rider. Just has too much of that Senna streak in him of pushing too hard at times
