So all you need for a prestigious race is to go past 3k to go for the first time at 75 k to go. It‘s a great trick. But I agree this is no UAE Tour in terms of spectators.
Nah, you also need to have 100 years of history.
Something the wannabe monuments like Strade Bianche will have in 2100.

I could not pay much attention to the race yesterday. I have just noticed that Landa beat hatter, ajuso, izagirre and 133 others in a short time trial. How did he managed that? Did he get a personalised moto escort? If so Ithink that would only be fair. He is the GOAT after all.

UAE, Movistar and Ineos move up and the gap to the break shrinks to 50 seconds. Still 60 km left so something's up.

Someone could move for the bonus seconds...

Anyway, if Seixas wants to make the case that he can challenge for the top 2 in July, now is the time to so it

Was that rider pleading with the race commissar to get the moto off the front of the peloton?

ed. Probably not since he doesn't have a teammate in the break :)

Jens would have sent Ayuso, Skjelmose or McNulty up the road when the gap was 50 seconds to ‚punish‘ Decathlon for keeping the gap so close, claiming that would make Decathlon‘s day really hard. Now that would of course hardly work because they‘d need to chase down six riders on rolling terrain and Decathlon still has all their riders, but that‘s why he‘s not a DS.

And good luck getting Ethan Hayter to work with them.

Simmons you'd assume for Skjelmose as Aysuo is still beaten up

I think the early attack is likely, Decathlon only have 2 helpers and the trapdoor already opening
