After today, Seixas still needs something to beat the big boys. For now, it's clear he will be on the podium in the TdF.
I dont think its clear. Lipowitz is his main contender for 3rd place in the Tour, and Lipowitz looks to be getting better during this stage race while Seixas doesnt look like a rider who can last 3 weeks.

Why is Lipowitz pulling while Roglic is trying to catch up?
If they don't stress Seixas they both end up in podium positions anyway. Cracking him, if that's possible; is the only way to gain time. He's shown tremendous response to attacks and should hold on to the end of the stage to either win it or get second.

They are down over 2 minutes.

They should be much more worried about securing their own podium spots than gaining time on Seixas.

How can you know? His team just can really put the hurt on his rivals and so when he goes nobody is on the limit yet. That's part of the reason for the flatting out of performance.

I’ve felt for a while that people have overplayed how annoying Carlton Kirby is, but…he’s starting to BUG. 😂 Guy is consistently, aggressively, confidently…wrong…a lot!
