They have enough lead, particularly Lipo on Seixas' wheel; to finish on the podium. They are down over 2 minutes.
They should be much more worried about securing their own podium spots than gaining time on Seixas.
I'm not talking about strength. It's obvious Seixas is playing with them. I'm talking about how to approach races when they have a numerical advantage.I think you'll find that in this race there is precisely one rider who is better.
So he should sacrifice his (and the team’s) chances so another guy can be slightly more sure of third? 😶Roglic also could have secured 3rd place if Lipowitz hadn't distanced him..
Wasn't a treacherous enough descent.Seixas the great descender can't drop a guy descending on the hoods
They are still within stomp range if they mess about at the end
He is bad.Not sure of Lipo's sprint, Seixas looked pretty fast in ALgarve...
No, he should increase his chances by letting a team mate catch up, so he and his teammate are in a 2 to 1 position, meanwhile also securing the podiumspot for himself and his teammate. So he should sacrifice his (and the team’s) chances so another guy can be slightly more sure of third? 😶
Roglic obviously didn’t have it. Letting Seixas go probably not a great team strategy. No, he should increase his chances by letting a team mate catch up, so he and his teammate are in a 2 to 1 position, meanwhile also securing the podiumspot for himself and his teammate.
Seixas is fast uphill but they're both average on flatter roads I think
