There was an interview with Ullrich on German public television today. Basically Ullrich just repeated that he didn‘t cheat anyone out of results because basically everybody at the top was doping. He thinks that the UCI should be given a lot of funding to combat doping and he says that he thinks that currently there‘s no peloton-wide doping. He says that people in cycling should have learned from the mistakes of the past. But I also got the feeling that he mainly says that because it‘s his sport and he kind of knows that it‘s not true what he‘s saying. He also doesn’t believe in talking about who else doped back then and just kind of pushed the responsibility for that onto the UCI. Oh, and Pogačar apparently wished him luck for the interview which leaves room for massive speculation from „OMG greatest person ever“ over „fake media persona“ to „tells him to mention all his excuses and alibis“
