Jarlinson Pantano Discussion Thread

One of the revelations and one of the few bright lights that shone in the 2016 Tour de France, Jarlinson Pantano.

This guy is an incredible cyclist, great climber, great descender, great sprinter and amazing recovery and determination.

Finished in the top 20 in the Tour two years in a row, and 2016 has been a great year for him winning a stage and finishing 4th overall in the Tour de Suisse and winning an epic stage in the Tour de France as well as two very admirable second place finishes.

The future is bright for Jarlinson 'Pais' Pantano :D

I would add that he finished third in Tour de l'Avenir in 2010 - worse only than Quintana and Talansky and ahead of guys like Landa, Bardet and Kelderman. That was one of the most stacked Avenir editions. It is obvious that he is a huge talent.

This really is a cyclist you have to give the freedom to attack. To entertain. To animate races.

Pantano, Atapuma, Alaphilippe, Navarro: cyclists who have the duty to entertain us.

Sky already ruined Nieve. That's more then enough.

The team who is going to sign Pantano, just have to do one thing: give Jarlinson the freedom to play. To give joy to the people! :)

Pantano is a really exciting rider to watch. He was already great in the Tour de Suisse and now did a great Tour de France with a stage win and two second places. Hoping to see him more in the future. Vuelta next for him this year, perhaps?

Likeable character and excellent rider.
Wonder what team appreciates these values?

Any rumours?
Apparently he signed with Trek.

Really?
Interesting bunch Trek's gathering.

Wonder how they'll share the goals between riders.
They start to resemble Cannondale.
Not really...
Classics - Degenkolb+Stuyven
Weak races(GT) - Mollema+ Contador...and Pantano for stages(I hope)

I think there might be division inside the team. Both in classics' department and GT.
Benelux vs. Latino - German group.
