In the Renewi thread there was talk of Jayco team struggles/demise, but I can't see GreenEDGE letting that happen.

I've always wondered if USA Jayco RV would be interested in jumping in with Australia Jayco RV.

*My understanding is that USA Jayco is owned by an RV/bus holding company.

GreenEdge is Gerry Ryans plaything and he won’t let it fold, if another joint title sponsor can’t be found then the team will continue but with a little less money to spend.
Can’t see why Jayco in the US would want to be involved or why Ryan would want them to be involved, it’s brand dilution and I doubt the money would be worth it either way

Yes and no, but this probably isn't the place to discuss that. I'll PM you ;) .

"l'équipe était dans la sauce il y a encore 2 semaines avec une partie de la famille Ryan qui souhaitait que Gerry Ryan se désengage si j'ai bien compris."

some members of the Gerry Ryan family pressing him not to continue funding the team

This has been happening for 15 years. Realistically, the family loses nothing because Gerry's investment in the team probably comes from profits from his businesses. The family still has the bricks and mortar from Jayco, Michelton, Global Creatures, Creature Technology etc, etc, etc which are ongoing successful businesses. He also invests in basketball, rugby, australian rules, horse racing in Australia.

in any case, unless the team finds an external sponsor, it will fold when Gerry dies, as BMC folded when Andy Rihs died

Absolutely they need to find a sponsor not that they get much luck from Aussie companies. I predict that if Jerry can't get another sponsor for 2027, then he will sell the licence.
