Do you have a link?

There is a search feature, and it was in February. I am not doing the digging, but feel free. Its there.

The impetus is absolutely to discuss.

I have read some of Joe’s earlier posts and was impressed. There was also a great article about Joe on Pez Cycling News. When I searched deeper, I saw the guilty plea in Feb of this year and I am trying to understand the situation.

If this has already been covered too much please give me some links.

Just went there, couldn't find it. Link please.

a 100% trolling thread given the times and circumstances.

if the reasonable posters refrain from posting here, it will give the mods a perfect opportunity to isolate the trolls and their sock puppets. let the filtering start.

What do you mean "given the times and circumstances"?

These are times when "sweetheart deals" are coming under scrutiny.

This seems the perfect time and place (The Clinic) to supersleuth the way to the truth.

Maybe Joe was an undercover agent for the USADA when he was dealing EPO and HGH to friends and strangers alike. That would explain him staying out of jail better than the "sweetheart deal" hypothesis.

You gotta admit this thread is pretty catchy. "Joe Papp Doping Timeline" as a title just kinda jumps out at you. :D

Genius. This must be the work of a crafty sockpuppet. :D

Um, up to this point, find where I brought up Armstrong...oh wait, that was you.

Please go shut down the yellow band discussion, nobody can derail like you. If you you want to highlight your skills see if you can get them talking about Joe Papp, I bet you can.

I posted on that thread, and it was deleted because it involved a cock ring. I failed there, so I dug deep and tried again. Call me the little engine that could.

You're welcome.

Reflections On Doping From An Ex-Doper

Thanks for proving my point.

I don't understand.

I said that there was an article about him on Pez, you asked for a link, I gave it to you, and you say that I proved your point?

Alright, enough fun for now. Gotta go see a crit downtown. I am betting on three of my posts being deleted...and possibly a temporary ban when I get back.

I didn't read the article until recently.

After the article I went to Joe's website and read a bunch of stuff thinking that he is now one of the good guys.

I read his Wiki page and saw the stuff about dealing in 2006 - 2007.

I posted here trying to figure out the missing link.

No hidden agenda.

I just edited several the posts here, deleted at least two more, handed out a warning and an infraction, and am on the verge of banning one of the people posting here.

Someone tell me why this thread needs to continue?

Yes, I am trying to find the resolution of the guilty plea.

The Post-Gazette article says that sentencing was scheduled for June 25th but I can’t find anything about sentence.

When I saw the first post I thought "There goes some fool trying to pick on a forum member by highlighting his mistakes". But I'm not sure that is the goal here. And I'm not sure this isn't genuine clinic material if you look at it from an open perspective. What I hope doesn't happen (probably fat chance) is that people use this to attack one of the few among us who posts under his true identity. JP might be able to address any issues the OP has. You'll no doubt have to keep this under watch because there's about an 80% chance it will get personal instead of informative.

If someone has a specific question, please contact me directly. I'm happy to address uncertainties concerning the facts of the "timeline", thereby freeing you from the need to speculate here.

I'm so over being baited by haters that I won't even be reading those posts. Like I said though, if someone has a question concerning those facts already in the public record, please contact me directly. Lastly, no one here - especially my friends and supporters - should feel the need to defend me against pointless trolling. Don't waste your time or your energy.

I had forgotten how much nicer this place was without ChrisE. Thanks for reminding me.
i disagree.

unless the conversation is about chrisE, or his sock puppets, or his avatar or his pissinging match with buckwheet, every thread he enters is dead smack on topic... (well again im being optimistic) provided his sparring pardner oncearunner (or one of his sock puppets - 6 so far by one moderator count) managed to survive a moderating gap due to continental time differences.

lets hope he respects the short leash alp told him to his face.
