Jonas Vingegaard: Something is Rotten

Page 97 - Get up to date with the latest news, scores & standings from the Cycling News Community.
I'll post the riskiest of takes which no one would have dared imagine (or post) one month ago: Vingegaard is going to get dropped on the Tourmalet stage on Friday.

He just seems unwell or something & getting worse. Even today he wasn't particularly switched on either during the stage or at the end of the climb. He gives serious "I'm going to drop hard" vibes, like he's totally running on empty.

Just my impression.

Definitely some system failure that JV cyberneticians can't deal with. Skeletor doesn't even respond to Grischa's password!

To be honest, his Vuelta perfomance is proving the Clinic right. There is no freak dominance like in Basque Country or Tour de France. He is more or less at the same level or slight above than Mas, Ayuso, etc., which is more or less aligned to what should be expected. The same wattage level here in Vuelta and Vingo would be 10 minutes ahead.

This aged well!

Still excuses being made for this team's ridiculousness- only beat Landa and a bunch of kids? Well. lets see the excuses made for this team when they destroy everyone on stages 17 and 18.

Now all I have to look forward to is if Roglic can somehow stop one of his teammates from winning this Vuelta. Vingo with the TdF in his legs and Kuss with how many race days in his legs now?
