Although trendy i feel that such solutions only delay the inevitable for one generation. So if parents couldn't choose one surname, then their kids will be made to chose for them. Unless i guess it will became trendy to have 4 surnames. And next generation 8 surnames.

When Vingegaard finishes his career with 6 Tours de France, any child born in denmark will have the name of Jonas Vingegaard Hansen.

You know that's not actually how it works, right? People having both a middle name, and a surname isn't exactly a new thing. The new(ish) thing is for the husband to also adopt a name from his wife.
