Don't understand this comment, every giro winner from 2013 onwards has done tirreno, with the exception of pogacar
And neither of them have won Tour and barely tried to do the double like Froome-Dumo.
I don't think that Froome and Dumoulin would suddenly win the Tour had they done Catalunya instead of TA (as Roglic/Pog).
No, I don't think he'll do the Giro but I don't think it's would be a problem for the Tour if he does Camino and TA/PN before the Giro.
Who knows, they lost time early in that Tour, they were not at their best and that's what matters. It's much harder to be in the best form at the Giro/Tour if you peak that early. Roglic in 2023 came in Tirreno undercooked and barely won thanks to his sprint.

The failure of Froome-Dumo in 2018 made it that no top GC rider tried the double until Pog.

We will know in December. I hope he doesn't ride the Giro. I think he can reach Pogacar's ceilling but he can't have his "high base level" so I don't believe he can cruise in the Giro at 80-90% like Pogacar. A full peak Vingegaard vs a full peak Pogacar is all I want to see in the biggest rivalry Cycling has ever witnessed
I hope he will ride Giro. Cyclist like him should have all GT in his palmares.

We already know that Remco isn’t going to the Giro, because of his crash and I think Roglič isn’t any problem for Jonas.
Roglic will just sit in his wheel forcing Jonas to attack. Jonas is gonna have to go high watts like he did in Tour this year when he dropped Roglic out of his wheel. But the cost is important, it might tire him for Tour. Roglic ain't Martinez/Thomas not to mention he is gonna have Hindley/Martinez pacing him.

Froome had to dig deep to get the Giro in 2018 which might have costed him a better form in Tour.
