Who knows, they lost time early in that Tour, they were not at their best and that's what matters. It's much harder to be in the best form at the Giro/Tour if you peak that early. Roglic in 2023 came in Tirreno undercooked and barely won thanks to his sprint.I don't think that Froome and Dumoulin would suddenly win the Tour had they done Catalunya instead of TA (as Roglic/Pog).
No, I don't think he'll do the Giro but I don't think it's would be a problem for the Tour if he does Camino and TA/PN before the Giro.
The failure of Froome-Dumo in 2018 made it that no top GC rider tried the double until Pog.
