He had no issues from that crash, he said this himself, but sure you could say MSR was also not fair.

My point is that if both riders are at their best and they don’t crash or get sick we get a fair fight. Which we didn’t get at TDF23 and TDF24. But I used more recent examples like RVV25 which triggered some people.
RVV25 was a fair fight.

The TdF 2020 wasn't a fair fight then because Rog crashed two weeks earlier in the Dauphiné. He was still bandaged up when the race started and didn't have time to train on his ITT bike before that fateful stage 20.

These are all valid excuses (including other recent examples pertaining to other riders) but at the end of the day that's part of pro-sport. When Ronaldo had his seizure/whatever health issue before the 1998 World Cup final against France no one (or at least hardly anyone) would say 'hey, the result has an asterisk because of that.

Tour recon in the beginning of the week, Mallorca at the end of it. Sierra Nevada camp usually start next Monday, in 9 days.

Monday: Pau > Hautacam
Tuesday: Peyragudes (maybe also Superbagnères?)
Wednesday: Massif-Central (towards Mont-Dore)

Friday: Arrived on Mallorca with the family. I assume he'll train there alone until the altitude camp begins.
