I feel as though he'd be ultimately better off saving as much energy as possible rather than wasting it to give himself the best chance against Pogacar but it's definitely entertaining.

The problem is quite unique - Jonas tries to beat Pogacar in his own game. Pogacar is definitely the most versatile one day racer in decades - he knows exactly how to race and win in the dynamic, monument like environment. Do we believe Jonas is the one that will break Pogi in such terrain?

IMHO Jonas should stay calm, save his bullets and wait for his moments in the mountains and ITTs.

Impeccable timing for her interview. Just extraordinary.

I am eagerly awaiting Van Aert's partner's response

Niermann responded but I don't think he's married to WvA:

"Wout is the biggest help Jonas can imagine, but Wout is also a great champion and he too must have his own goals and freedom. If you give him that, you get the Wout you saw in the Giro, for example, where he helped Simon Yates to the win," says Niermann.

Basically a lot of words to say Nooooo @ Vingo's wife.
