I’m not talking about Ayuso leaving and refusing to help, I’m talking about him refusing to help while he was there present in the race. Which makes the story of him wanting to stay in order to help hard to believe when his past behavior doesn’t show that. He was plenty fine to finish 3rd on stage 4 in TdF and keep riding high placing but trying to avoid helping. Then had no problem stating he’ll help Almeida before sandbagging and then going for his own results.

Well... for some reason he took Skjelmose's advise as the final "push" to get off.

Lidl, What a joke of a team. Without Mads right now they could be the worst team in World tour.
You are a little bit harsh, but indeed something bad is happening with them this year. From the second-best team last year, now they are nowhere to be seen.

Yes, is really strange. Is a pity, because they have very talented riders such as Philipsen, Nys, Vacek of Soderqvist. But I feel like something is wrong in that team.

Ayuso training with Pogacar today in Sierra Nevada.

They have a good relationship, contrary to what supposed insiders were saying. You can't trust half of what you read on social media.
Was about to post the same thing. Saw a video of them training together. Lovely to see. People like to make some rivalry stories even when nothing is going on.

Hope Juan will be 100% in the Tour and get his podium spot.

I can't see a podium for Ayuso in this year's Tour, unless he's had a massive improvement that takes him to a whole new level.
He should be able to get top10 easily though, maybe even top5.

At 1:00, nice greeting between Almeida and himself, don't think there's any beef between them

Also, Luke Rowe said on Wattsoccuring Dauphine preview podcast that he thinks Ayuso will win the Dauphine, which I found fairly interesting
