Interesting and recent ruling by CAS on the Judo Olympic/World Champ who was busted for Clen.

CAS overturned her ban based not on Chinese meat, but on a testing snafu.

the federation ordered tests on Tong's backup "B" sample -- which also had clenbuterol traces -- without telling her or giving her the chance to attend the testing at the World Anti-Doping Agency lab in Cologne, Germany.

In doing so, the federation violated Tong's "fundamental right to be present whenever her B sample was analyzed" and that, in turn, rendered the test result invalid

"Even if there was a failure of procedure, the decision that was taken goes against the spirit of our sport and against sports in general," IJF president Marius Vizer said in a statement. "With such a decision, the fight against doping will be even harder."

Although last week in an interview with The Associated Press, the VP of WADA (Prof. Arne Ljungqvist) said "claims of food contamination in doping cases are "old stories" going back 30 years and have never been accepted by an international sports panel".

Looks like that record is still intact - as Judo Champ got off on a technicality.

If Alberto ends up in front of CAS, maybe his best chance will be a technicality too?
