I guess I don’t understand why some people feel this is some kind of somber, solemn affair, like the crowning of a royal at Westminster Abbey. If the winner wants to bring kid, or granny, why not. It harms no one.
It's a shame Groupama FDJ did not win the team classification. It would have been nice to see them bring their kids on the podium

Fine, someone will bring their dog, cow, extended family and couple of neighbours. Why not, eh?I guess I don’t understand why some people feel this is some kind of somber, solemn affair, like the crowning of a royal at Westminster Abbey. OMG that is so cute I cannot even! Please do not throw shade on Thibaut Pinot's beloved goats. That's just wrong.

And yet you don't want his goats in your bedroom to read you a story!"And here you see the pro cyclist in his natural environment."

Not in Denmark, they can't...However those French goats...I... don't know how to tell you this but...
Goats can't read.
That's no way to talk about Thibaut's goatsMeh, as long as the little *** behave themselves I don't care.
Are we still talking about goats?Meh, as long as the little *** behave themselves I don't care. But I still would prefer the focus be on the rider rather than his/her offspring.
Are we still talking about goats?
Is Vingegaard dyslexic? As far as I can see he seems to be a Danish goat? Not in Denmark, they can't...However those French goats...
Sorry, I found myself posting into the wrong thread again. My profuuuuse apologies! Are we still talking about goats?
I think we're talking about kids now.
As in, human kids.
Someone really has to give Martin and Pinot a big win so that we can see donkeys and goats on the podium! And why doesn't Cav bring his dog?!
They would already be occupied with both their arms, one for the trophy, one for their walking stick. Can't hold a grandkid as well.I'm waiting to see what happens when an Israel Premier Tech rider wins a race. Will they bring their now-adult children onto the podium or their grandkids?
I don't really give a rip either way, but I do feel like someone did it once, and now everyone feels like they need to do it too.I guess I don’t understand why some people feel this is some kind of somber, solemn affair, like the crowning of a royal at Westminster Abbey. If the winner wants to bring kid, or granny, why not. It harms no one.
