In Western popular culture, the consumption of monkey brains is repeatedly portrayed and debated, often in the context of portraying exotic cultures as exceptionally cruel, callous and strange, with the following variations:

* the brain is eaten cooked
* the brain is eaten raw (occasionally directly out of the dead monkey's skull)
* the brain is eaten fresh, spooned out of the skull while the monkey is still alive

As a former chef I know fresh is always best!

As a former line cook, give me a hot grill, some salt and pepper and a press, and I'll serve it on a bun to the customer of whichever waitress pi$$ed me off.

I had my own catering business. I knew it was time to get out when I got a call from a lady who wanted a catered wedding for 300 for her daughter. She wanted to know what was the cheapest thing i could serve. I offered her dog food on crackers.

This was the kind of "inappropriate" that belongs in the Babes on Bikes thread.

Susan

As far as I'm concerned, all those images are inappropriate.

Hmm.. i guess all the time you watch cycling, you never think how nice the men look, all tanned, tight fitting shirts and shorts.. that would be inappropriate.. ;)

Its ok for women, they get hours of tv coverage devoted to men on bikes, magazines, websites.. what do us men get.. one thread.. one lousy thread..

[although i am speaking as someone who doesnt go in the BoB thread that often, maybe once a week]

I will have to say in Scott's behalf that he is in training. He has stopped drinking beer. And I believe sobriety has impaired his judgment

No big deal. I was just pointing out why it would have been challenging for me to be a woman and had illustrated my observation with a photo.

You are perfectly free to post in the Babes thread.

A good singer knows his audience. ;)

My only complaint is that this is the "Free form/Chaos Thread" and was intended to be open to anything. However, considering the fact that I neither work for cyclingnews, nor make the rules, I guess I will just have to suck it up like a big boy.
