Greyhound passengers stranded after driver deserts them

St. Louis (KSDK)-- Passengers say it was a travel nightmare. A Greyhound bus bound for St. Louis was stranded all night at a truck-stop after the driver got off the bus and never came back.

The driver is reportedly supposed to meet with her supervisors at Greyhound Monday. But The Commercial Appeal is reporting those supervisors haven't been able to get in touch with her. The Memphis paper is also reporting she has been with the company since 2004.

The situation happened Friday night. Passengers say the first problem on the trip happened in Sikeston. They say the driver kicked a passenger, 65, off the bus in Sikeston because she didn't like what he was saying. The bus continued North on I-55. Around Cape Girardeau, the driver pulled over and stopped the bus on the side of the road. She told passengers she was leaving. She locked the door and went outside to wait for a ride. Passengers called 911 and police ordered the driver back on the bus.

But instead of heading north to St. Louis, she turned the bus around. She got off the interstate in Charleston, MO and got off the bus for good. The passengers were stranded at a truck-stop. They called Greyhound for help, but it took hours to get a new driver. They ended up spending the night on the bus.

"She did it twice," passenger Danyel Thompson said of the bus driver. "She locked us in on the side of the highway and then the second time she just left. It was horrible."

They finally arrived in St. Louis just before noon, nearly 12 hours after they were scheduled to arrive.

Andre the Giant drunk

This French professional wrestler, known as "The Eighth Wonder of the World," may be remembered more for his boozing than his athleticism, despite being the first wrestler inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame in 1993.

Andre Roussimoff was labeled "The Greatest Drunk on Earth" after drinking 119 12-US-fluid-ounce (350 ml) beers in six hours.

Mike Graham noted him for drinking 156 16-US-fluid-ounce (470 ml) beers in one sitting on an episode of Legends of Wrestling.

He then allegedly drank 127 beers in a Pennsylvania hotel before passing out in the lobby.

It clearly took a lot to get this behemoth intoxicated.

Jonathan Lee Riches-
Because of his lightning fast litigious nature that the Guinness Book of World Records named him the most suing man in the world. (A title that he promptly sued them to have removed.) The prestigious record keepers aren't the only people that Riches has filed lawsuit against.

He has filed cases against the likes of Steve Jobs (claiming that Jobs hired O.J. Simpson as a hitman to take out a building using pyrotechnics stolen from Great White as well as aiming nuclear missiles at Lance Armstrong's bike and price gouging IPhone users.), Martha Stewart (suing for $3.5million for emotional and mental distress after getting poison ivy and falling in a groundhogs hole on her property. If he wins though, he claims to give all monies to Rachel Ray.) and even Hank Aaron's bat (I don't even know how to explain this one).

Waiting to be sued....
