Was that photo taken in Bombay? There's a national park in the middle of the city and leopards regularly escape. Judging also by the fact that the police are wearing motorbike helmets?

I think it happened in or near a wildlife sanctuary in Siliguri (which I think is near Kolkata?). Happened earlier this year. Here are couple of links to the story:
