After yesterday, I don’t know who’s supposed to have the strength to hold off the sprinter teams. But who knows, maybe Visma and UAE have found their legs overnight,

well, the good news is that action can't get worse than yesterday.

It can definitively be even worse today. Yesterday there were for example some hope that Kung could stay away and today it can very well be obvious already at the Beerbosstraat that it will come down to another big sprint. And looking at the small gaps the stornger guys were able to create there are no guarantees the race will blow to pieces on Kruisberg I think.

PS! I hope this post will jinx it and lead to a crazy race.

It will probably be a bunch sprint cause there's too many good teams with top sprinters and last 2 years the damage was done partly because of a huge crash before the crucial climbs, BUT the climbs in Kuurne are significantly harder than the ones in Omloop. So it is easier to get some gaps at least. I'm pretty sure there will be serious action on the climbs.

Alpecin will likely try to drop Milan and Merlier. If successfully so, attackers stand a chance afterwards.

Try to drop Merlier and Milan, but not the majority of their team, as they´ll be needed in the final flat 60km. Can´t see that happening. Yesterday they had 1 helper for Philipsen in the front group of 50km. Thatns not enough to control the pack in Kuurne.

In time for Hameau des Papins this year, thanks to the lower speed than last year.

Looks like Visma has not managed to make Campenaerts stay on his bike yet. 3 crashes in 2 days so far.

Narvaez already gone.

It is an ideal moment to anticipate right now.

Abrahamsen also gone, interesting

5 Visma riders in the peloton, Affini a bit behind. The 7th in the group behind Affini.

Lidl-Trek leading the peloton. We didn't see Abra passing Kielich, so maybe they were indeed caught.

They will need to explode the race a bit more or this likely comes back to a sprint in the end anyway
