Milan was positioned badly and had to sprint in the open, but he seemed pretty fast nonetheless.
Stupid take. Philipsen is faster than Kooij...and Kooij got 2nd.Visma fail
Kooij wins sprints when they're chaotic, I don't think he has any chance against the top three if they get a lead out like Philipsen got todayStupid take. Philipsen is faster than Kooij...and Kooij got 2nd.
In every racePhilepsen should be relegated
I mean, it'll be 7am in California, what else is worth doing at that hour, on a weekend, other than drinking coffee?Yet you will likely watch it to just complain afterwords, its a saying for that you know.
Give me a race where you have cyclists who actually make the difference and separate the men from the boys any day of the week compared to this sprinting bs with all mid riders at the start. It's funny that the weirdos were so hyped about these two races, and both were a joke
I am definitely one of the weirdos!! I have ridden many of the classic routes, ridden through many kilometers of the Ardennes and all of it with an involuntary smile!!It's funny that the weirdos were so hyped about these two races, and both were a joke
Your excused. But personally I can think of plenty of things I much rather do than watching painting dry myself.
But it might be me who live a extraordinary life to some if they rather watch painting dry than doing hundred of things I would much rather prefer doing. Either way its hilarious
I dont think he cares anymore. Philipsen himself liked this post on IG. He is locked in for the season. In every race
He‘s good… Top10 in Omloop and in Kuurne.Would be surprised if Kubis is still racing for Unibet next season.
Rare sighting of a DE take that actually aged well.I also think Lukas Kubis deserves a bit of credit, only CT rider on the results sheet (so far) and inside 4 minutes. A rare case where a 29th place would be a reason to sign a rider if I was a PCT or even a smaller WT team looking to add someone for the classics.
That was infinitely better than Pog breaking away with 70km to go. These races could be the most contested of the spring classics, depending on what races Pog rides.I am definitely one of the weirdos!! I have ridden many of the classic routes, ridden through many kilometers of the Ardennes and all of it with an involuntary smile!!
These 2 races have all the elements for greatness, history shows us that..
If your point was both days had clear sky, sunny, dry, big capable fields and lack of excitement throughout..
Correct all around, still good races, essential in the spring schedule.
. All races are good, some better than others.. You can substitute races, w motorcycles, sex, beer, bourbon ,bicycles or fishing.. All are good some better than others!!!
I thought it was the best way to give Kooj a shot at winning, with sudden pressure stringing out the peloton and getting big sprinters out of position. That worked as far as Milan and Merlier, but Alpecin still had two guys near the front to keep Phillipsen in position. I know being caustic is the general modus operandi here, but simply saying “fail” is lazy (or just meant to be humorous if I missed that).Visma fail
Why was this a joke—it’s exactly what I would expect of K-B-K in good weather conditions. I still enjoyed watching. It's funny that the weirdos were so hyped about these two races, and both were a joke
Even better: watching with coffee!I mean, it'll be 7am in California, what else is worth doing at that hour, on a weekend, other than drinking coffee?
