some pretty awful driving by the vasc. car right there

I think they do this on purpose - it's what makes racing in Belgium such fun. Usually the crowd try to knock folk off by standing in the road and it's a well known fact that they train their dogs/goats to hide in the bushes and then jump out in to the road to chase the riders down. The riders tend to join in the fun by riding on the pavement (sidewalk).

They are very knowledgeable about cycling in Belgium.

No, Sky/Garmin/Leopard-Trek are impossible to tell apart.
And the white jerseys from HTC are also totally unrecognizable compared to other white jersey teams...
