Impressive how Asgreen bridged that gap on Kwaremont. Doull as well.

Küng finally also made it. Long time chasing very hard.

Küng on the descent after Kwaremont indeed, but he was dropped by Asgreen and Doull.

Impressive how much Doull looks like Sagan (it's probably the beard and glasses, though).

Okay, Mitchelton-Scott want to bring back everything now (including Groenewegen and Ackermann), so Trentin can win the sprint?

Isn't Trentin in the second group?

Trentin is actually in the G2. I don't get it. He might not have the legs? But who's their second card?

Looks like it... maybe they think the group is too much of a lottery and he only has one helper in it. Bring it together for a sprint and he could at least be top 5 for sure. With possibility to win.

Also the group ahead has a big gap now.

Yes. But maybe they think the second group can't get the first group back on its own. So they need to use the remaining helpers to catch the second group first and then chase down the first group.

That's the only explanation I can think of as to why they are riding hard in the third group.

G2 is not bringing back the front group, so I think it's not a bad call from Mitchelton.

The UAE helper for Philipsen looked like he was just getting in the way through the cars.

Jungels would do himself a great favour if he never tries to go for GC in a GT again.
