L-carnitine

I want to lose weight. Been using l carnitine for 2 weeks and haven't noticed any changes. I eat healthy, sugar free and probably on the low side of carbohydrate intake.
Ride around 10 hours a week and don't have much time to do any more. 4 of those hours are 1 x indoor trainer sessions. My job can be very physical and always on my feet.
Anyone used l carnitine and got results and if so how long did it take and how much and often do you use it?
If you're using any other supplements for weight loss I'm all ears.
Nothing illegal thanks.

Calories in verses calories out. Most measures are estimates but, scales will tell you if you are losing weight and a measuring tape will tell you if that loss is body fat. If I am not doing any exercise then I really restrict what I eat. Main thing though is keeping my protein intake up. Have lost 11kg so far with minimal exercise.

Didn't specifically lower my carb intake, that just happens with ensuring adequate protein, to maintain lean mass. Reduced all heavily processed foods, fat and CHO, which makes the process easier.

Don't lower carbs and increase protein .
Keep it balanced, carbs give you energy and help burn fat. You lose weight quick, you will gain weight quick. Keep a diary and see what works for you. If you feel crap and tired then your heading for a weight gain when you stop dieting. Eat don't starve.
The less you restrict yourself the better for long term weight balance.
DIETS DONT WORK LONG TERM. Balanced eating does and don't deny yourself a treat once or twice a week.
