It's stuff like this that cycling can improve on so much. What's the reason they finish 1.5h earlier than normal? And I of course clicked webpages that revealed the winner immediately, couldn't even go in non-spoiler mode :(

Yeh FW doesn't usually finish at this time does it? It's only usually the final Dauphine stages that are weird like that.

Wow when did it got weird to see Valverde winning things? :p
Seriously though, he timed it perfectly and was lucky that no one had a gap in the end otherwise he would have stopped to ask for cooperation!...My pick Albasini got 7th, not a bad result.
The world champ and his team mates on the other hand........ :D

LOL!!:D

Are you F***ing kidding me!? :( So unlucky Purito is at times. Hope it's nothing serious.

Came in 8 minutes back apparently.

It didn't look serious this time. But lately he has been like Bambi on thin ice. He could have won this race.

Lucky? On a climb like Huy, cooperation never happens anyway. To me, Valverde looked like a guy on a training ride, when he passed the others

Ah, Arredondo just outside the top 10. Still a good performance though.

BTW, anyone know which Schleck was it that was involved in the crash?

Truly amazing. Not only Lampre refuses to work for Costa (whom they promised was going to lead this) they also have Cunego **** up his race. It's so frustrating, Lampre is not a team. More like a group of mercenaries. Seriously, Cunego should have hit the barbed wire by the road side.

Happy for my boy Valverde.

I don't even know and I don't care. My autistic self want's all races finished at 16.55CET.

Unpredictability is bad for viewer numbers.

An hour and a half difference isn't unpredicability, that is just misinformation.
:( I can't imagine how they could have forseen any circumstances that could've caused the race finish to be that different than what actually occurred.

Frank, didn't hit the ground though, Andy abandoned at the top of Huy with 25km to go.
