Hindley not racing apparently.
Why?Cosneyfroy out also.
Why?
A couple top 10's the last years on steep finishes, but for me he looked a lot better in Itzulia. This is the race to take his chances, with Remco (and Julian)coming back on Sunday. Even there he can go for the win maybe if it will be tactical in the final. How is he on steep walls like Huy actually? Can't remember seeing him up front on races / stages like this.
Movistar also has Aranburu, who was 2nd behind Alaphilippe when they finished on the Mur in Tour de Wallonie last year. Two very different riders, but may very well end up in about the same range.
Yeah, too late if he wanted to finish outside of top 10Yeah Roglic attacked too late
You're right, I haven't gotten around to watching those races yet. But I'm glad Chaves is still racing. You must not have seen much of Itzulia and Catalunya...
Was Mas at Itzulia as good as at the 2022 Vuelta?I will go with Enric Mas for the win as he actually dropped Pogačar on Giro dell'Emilia last year in a relatively similar climb.
Gaudu is actually quite punchy; he's sort of a poor man's Roglic. But I don't think his high end is at Pog level. Still, normally Fleche would suit him.Mas might stay with Pogacar but lacks the kick, Gaudu like wise but he did get that stealth win in the Dauphiné, otherwise Pogacar to attack on top of penultimate time and ride solo to win as everyone else looks at each other.
Well dang, I'll have to find someone else to pull for now.Hindley not racing apparently.
if anyone wonders why ben healy and dan martin sound exactly the same...they are both from near birmingham with irish heritage.
I mean, there he still came 4th but his spring campaign is a disaster so far (not that it is his main goal of the season though).Gaudu was off form in Itzulia as well. Something hasn't been right with him for a few weeks now.
