Was that Pelizotti I just saw out the back? Lol damn.
It was Pellizotti and Visconti is currently in the back of the GC group about to get dropped, so Nibali will probably be isolated with more than 30 km to go

Looks like a group of 60 or so and I can only see Nibali and as you say Visconti about to get dropped. They're making Toms Giro team look super strong.

Poor Nibbles, better take the red jersey on Angliru or he is doomed!

As a Nibali disciple, I'm really confused how bad can Bahrain be as a GC team built around him. He has literally no support on GC compared to Sky/MS/AG2R. The shark deserves better fishes to serve him.
Shouldn't have left Astana

Puccio drops Jungels, what a joke. It seems having grand tour stages just in the vicinity of France brings out the worst in cycling

Actually think this is a smart tactic by Sky. Getting rid of a lot of semi-contenders already on the first mountain stage, not allowing them to ride in to shape

Nah Rosa's on the front now, which would explain the acceleration.

I think it's Rosa? Moscon Nieve Poels and Froome behind.

Sky here are reminding me slightly of Astana on stage 4 at the '15 Giro :D

Wow, worst fears closer to being confirmed... Sky looking like they may turn this race into a three week grind.

I trully hope that the frigging UCI grows some balls one day and reduces GT teamsize to 7 or even 6. Got really sick from the Sky circus. There is literally nothing interesting at seing them doing this choo choo.
