Well the other teams don't really want something so its hard to fault Sky, but still *** Sky. Sorry, just dont want them to turn this into Tour v.2. The Vuelta is meant to be everything the Tour isn't...

Jetse Bol still in the GC group. Can't wait to see him smash it up the Angrilu like the 2nd coming of Juan José Cobo

I trully hope that the frigging UCI grows some balls one day and reduces GT teamsize to 7 or even 6. Got really sick from the Sky circus. There is literally nothing interesting at seing them doing this choo choo.
Yes. And ban radios plus real time power data while at it. Or make it any data.

Fully agree with this as well. It might be time for other teams to learn how to react vs Sky. They probably don't have the manpower to do so or lack of tactics?

No one is stopping other teams doing a choo choo if that is what is required and indeed Movistar and Astana often do.

Let's see if the pace will deliver some victims on the last climb.

Good riding from Sky; gives a greater chance for Nibali or Contador to get dropped on the final climb.

Or to gain time if they are feeling sensations.

Wow, worst fears closer to being confirmed... Sky looking like they may turn this race into a three week grind.
I wouldn't worry too much yet. There are a lot of stages with very steep gradients. The team can't really help much then - it'll be every man for themselves from stage 5/6 onwards.

Might be extreme but why not? A balance between real instinctive cycling and advantages from technology without killing the real racing would be great. Pure utopia but still.

At least the last climb is short enough that Sky an't choo-choo us to death. Smells like a Poels-Froome show tho.

100% right, didn't say the opposite. I'm wondering why it's not happening. We/they all know how Sky gonna behave. Easily predictable since a few years. It's not like other teams don't have great firepower. They are just more complete and seem to have a robotic cohesion.

I'm surprised Atapuma and Costa are still in the front. Costa must be feeling really good today.
