I havent watched much any TT lately let alone TTT, but so whats the advantage of disc brake TT bikes ? I mean its ridiculous like with SD Worx no doubt sponsor obligated to wear Specializeds aero snoods in 25C heat, but carrying two lumps of un aero metal on their bikes for 14.5km.

also with Canyon Sram, I know its taken on the 4th rider, but given based on the results (and like anumber of other teams riders did) Skalniak-Sojka eases off before the finish line and wanders across in front of the riders behind so much that Chloe Dygert came charging past, beats her to the line and almost takes her out in the process, that had to affect the speed the 4th rider right ? and we are only talking about a second.

its just contrasted with Anna Hendersons interview where she said she just as hard as she could to the finish line.

After a crash that seems to have given Persico a road rash, they now start the climbing part of the stage. The intermediate sprint is at the first top on the profile and the QOM sprint is at the penultimate one.

Barbier
Who are the sprinters in this race? I heard Kool already. Vos.
Barbieri and Copponi shouldn't be forgotten either, but Kool looked good on the climbs and have a great leadout. There are some corners in the final that could make it tricky.

What was Vos thinking to look behind? Strong effort from Dygert, but Vos won it for Kool.

A great leadout indeed... by Vos. DSM had nothing left to give in the final kilometre.
Yeah, I was surprised by their lack of power, but they did at least manage to get Kool into a good position.

I thought Dygert had it, but the finishing straight just continued for too long.

Have posted that Dygert has unlimited talent - The world is her oyster if she stays fit and focused - Wiebes who should be at this race is suffering from chasing the money at SD Worx.

My heart bleeds for Little Miss Contract Law missing out by chasing the money...

Dygert looking so strong has me very ambivalent. I'm glad that she seems to be finally fully recovered and looking like she's over what was a nasty injury that threatened to derail her career, but simultaneously I would prefer it if she wasn't threatening to win things, and I don't think you can have one without the other.

The one year I don't have Chloe in my fantasy cycling...still, what a fantastic podium!

Who is Little miss contract law???

& is that because of clinic issues or the whole being a Fox news viewer thing? Either way, she's gone through a lot of suffering, she deserves some success & a chance.

Little Miss Contract Law is Lorena Wiebes, after the BS she pulled on Parkhotel.

And it's the total package that turns me off about Chloe, I'm afraid. I don't think she personally comes across very well to me, I don't like her politics, and that whole nepotistic Kristin-Armstrong's-orbit side of US women's cycling leaves me very cold and I always preferred the likes of Evelyn Stevens or Katie Hall on the US side of things. I wanted her to be back to full health because I never wished injury on her in the first place and believe her to be a legitimate supertalent, but it's a double-edged sword because you can't have her at full health without seeing her competing at a level where she's liable to win a lot of things, and I don't want her to win a lot of things.

I hear ya & don't blame you.

Now theres an idea for a thread: 'what ever happened to...' It seems like a cyclists like Evie just disappear from the face of the earth as soon as they retire. :(
