Robo Reusser is doing pretty well here. After her performance on Norefjell in 2021, I had thought she could have taken a Kopecky like jump in climbing level after moving to SDW, but that didn't really happen on the longer climbs. Now she seems to be getting there.

Impressive, she's keeping the gap pretty steady

Sick of the patronising 'everyone's doing so well aren't they' commentators as the best rider in the world is dragged up the climb for several KM, ride within yourself of course but at least wait until your rival has attacked. Now they're trying to act like it isn't all over. Reusser actually looks good though.

It's impressive how gaps are big in women racing when they are climbing double digit gradients. I just wonder what would happen if they raced Angliru.

Two years ago Vollering won this stage by 1m and 30S. They are closing the gap.

I don't think that's the case, but rather that the riders who finished second and third today were her teammates.

Last year, Labous finished second in one stage; this year, she's Demi's domestique.

could someone give me a little more context about Vollering's comments about riding for those with mental illness?

It's about time we found out. They did Zoncolan a few years ago.

It keeps being rumoured every year, so you would think it must end up in the race at some point. It would also stick to the theme of having the hardest climb be an MTF rather than placing it earlier in a stage.

I would assume at that point time gaps scale pretty linearly with climb duration.
