Lactic Acid Not The Enemy?

The old lactic acid myth.

This is a classic case of correlation* being confused with causation.

* i.e. increases in blood lactate correlating with an inability to sustain the intensity of effort.

Before reading it, it's hydrogen ions right? They muscle in on all sorts of things a working muscle is trying to do like bonding to receptors that calcium ions are supposed to bond to. I might have pulled that out of my backside I certainly can't remember a source. K will read it now.
