Reading through Landis/Kimmage again on NY Velocity and have a couple questions now that more has come to light.

http://nyvelocity.com/content/interviews/2011/landiskimmage

1) I've heard both that the UCI's corruption, in coordination with LA, were responsible for Floyd's positive test for testosterone AND that Tailwind funded the Floyd Fairness Fund. Sorry but we can't have both. We can't have LA&Co both trying to get him busted and paying to keep it under wraps. What's the clinic's take on this.

2) About a third of the way through, Floyd talks about Del Moral overseeing his doping program, but says that he can't name who he had transport the blood during the tour, because "he gave their name to the authorities." Is this Pepe Marti? Why is he able to out DelMoral in the interview but not the other guy?

3) Not sure if people revisited Landis/Kimmage since the SI article, but he mentions that Periero was going to do some artificial hemoglobin before the final TT. Hemassist? What ever happened with that?

Another American winning the TdF would've taken some of the limelight from Armstrong and he cannot accept that.

The USA media would have been focussing on Landis and what he can do in future TdFs. Armstrong would have become old news to the USA media. Armstrong does not share.

Floyd was responsible for Floyds positive test . He took the stuff.
Even if their was something like has been suggested then its an easy scenario to play out. You get him caught, cause it was so outrageous. You then pay for his defence, cause your loaded, and you wont be suspected then, so your use will go unpunished as he wont suspect you of getting him.
Albeit unlikely.

Before the positive test was announced I was laughing about all of the hand slings Landis accepted (under the guise of taking a bottle) on that stage.
I know this is common but then I read about how many bottles he used.
That number (like Lance's number of tests) got pretty big.
Does anyone remember how many bottles he used?
Nm, HERE they say 70.

It was not Marti.
