Landis wore a wire and filmed Ball (at feds request)

Im wondering if this is the basis of the sports illustrated article.

Chuck another hand grenade into the mix.
Is there anyone out there who didn't think Mr Ball's bunch were rotten to the core?
Nice of Floyd to confirm what we all knew.
It's all beginning to look like small, cheap suit on a big fat man who is bending to fix a shoe lace!

not that we didn't know it yet, but now this is really a first rather unambiguous confirmation (a) of what cycling's team-managers' anti-doping statements are worth and (b) of the veracity of Landis' statements.

why wasn't he already doing this during his time at US Postal!! :(

... or did he? :p

in any case. Floyd is my cycling hero. Since stage 17 to Morzine in 2006! Go Floyd, go! Always with the truth now!

Correct - or did he? Ya think Lance is thinking this right now? Scanning his head about all the times he spoke to Floyd about drugs, cheating, hookers, paying bribes. Did Floyd record or didn't he? Poor Lance he may never know until it's too late.

This is great, Landis is the man.

It'll be interesting to here what the moron Patsy Mcquaid has to say about this. Suffice to say, at the very least the Feds take him seriously and thats what counts in the end.

The D-Bag McQuaid will probably take credit for running Ball out of the sport.

You are under panic, noticing his hopes and dreams regarding Lance dash away one after another.*

Remember to leave the ship last and switch out the light - holy hater. The earlier the better, before it is too late.

Oh, he's not alone. Or, to quote the reporter from nydailynews: "When Armstrong returns to the U.S. this week, after joining Robin Williams and Lewis Black on a goodwill tour of military bases around the world, there won't be much to laugh about, and he'll still be under siege."

wasn't landis rumored to be joining rock racing at the very beginning of last season? if the statements about audio/video taping are true it means he has been working closely with the feds for a very long time.

i'm starting to think that the biggest lesson novitzky learned from balco is that he needed to find a trusted inside voice, someone like landis, to collect mountains of evidence before proceeding against people with resources. landis is proving quite capable. if this has been done correctly these charges will stick to people like tubular glue. ;)

They said this was from last Spring, so it wouldn't be a part of any new breaking story. But if they had Floyd wired and wearing a cam back then already, it makes sense that he might have approved having his own phone calls monitored at the time things were hitting the fan.

As to evidence of the old days, he did document his own doping and experiences - seemed like a combination of a detailed training diary and a journal of his life, but I don't sense he was "gathering evidence" at the time. You keep track of the doping the way you do training, seeing what worked and what didn't, so you can duplicate or do better next year.

Hence the emails & calls to Lance & Hog Bruyneel asking for a ride. The trap was being laid well before the leaked USADA email.

Looks like Armstrong will be paying out for more lawyer hours as his "dream team think tank" look for a new mantra to replace the "Liar Landis lacks credibilty" line.
The fanboys will probably be a little slower to figure out it's defunct............as usual.

the haters here can let landis sleep on their couches one week at a time.

Why would Ball have to keep the doping products in his own fridge? Was he keeping it there to use when he needed or did all the Rock Racing riders head over to his apartment when it was time to dope up? I hope that he didn't get confused and accidentally eat the doping products.
