A bit of self-advertisement.
Laporte17 has 6000+ posts in a PCM forum with a different username.Der Effe said:Ruby United said:Anyone else get the feeling that Laporte17 is actually the real Christophe Laporte ("The Greatest")?

He'd be my favourite cyclist in the world if so.

Actually, Luis Angel Maté was a user of a Spanish PCM Forum back in his amateur days. One of the Herrada brothers was registered in one of the most relevant Spanish cycling forums, as well as Juanjo Cobo, which is a very down-to-earth and nice guy.

Laportes season start has been amazing, but let's consider the fact that most of the big sprinters are in Dubai atm. There's at least 10 sprinters in TDF that are better than him. And is Bouhanni not the favored sprinter on Cofidis?

I think this might be a thread of slight exaggeration. A few people might also argue that Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne perhaps would not be "sure fire wins" for Laporte. Although, Sagan will not be there so they are very cheap this year.

A win there is still more prestigious then winning the Dubai Tour, you can't call them cheap have you seen the quality startlists?
