Laporte Discussion Thread - The Greatest?

Page 6 - Get up to date with the latest news, scores & standings from the Cycling News Community.
Kind of Laporte, I think he was Bonhauui swerve at the end and though 'wow, he really needs this one for his confidence', then showed his superiority by coming as close as possible without winning. Cofidis should see this and not worry about Bonhauui in the tour at all.

Too bad about the crash in stage 2 on his way to another good result. Does anyone have any info on any injuries? Heard someone mention he had breathing problems following the crash?

It certainly seems like he is hurt somehow. He couldn't follow the team that was a minute worse than number 21 today.

I guess it's time for us to discuss the best rider of the season! Some people vote for weird riders like Tom Duuomolin and GWA and Chriss Vroome and Ronaldo and Dan Marint and Peter Sagen and Andy Schlechk, but in this thread we only accept honest, true discussion, so who is the greatest?

Laporte with ease.
Dominated every race he entered. If the fuker wasn't winning it, he was by far the most dominant of the race. With only stupid other riders stepping in on his turf.
From the start in De Besseges, Provance, Paris Nice, Wevelgem, Tro Bro Leon, Belgium Tour, Luxembourg, Le Tour (of course), Fourmies, Isbergeurs, Bourges.

Laporte is a serious rider - Will be interested to see him in the Classics as he has suitable characteristics.
seems he could be riding Milano - Sanremo
