Lance has also made a small fortune as a Bike Shop Owner.
HaHa! No one makes a small fortune at a single shop. Definitely a labor of love because there's **lots** of labor and risk for very little return. A hobby at best for wonder lance.

Armstrong's on the board of usacdf. You guys have any dirt on that operation?

Whilst it may not be rolling in cash, it wouldn't surprise me if he is doing better then other bike stores because of his name.

Something his buddy Stephanie might like...

Lewis Cellars Lance Armstrong Cuvee 7 wine - $275-300. Profits going to Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Livestrong Wine...not sure if it's still being produced, but there might be some out there.

Added.

Curiously, http://livestrong.giro.com doesn't pull up. Or at least not when I checked. Anyone have a clue if Giro/Bell-Easton is quietly letting the inventory vanish and parting ways with LA? Buying a helmet in LS colors is still an available option, but LS certainly isn't featured anywhere on the site when you do a search.

Hmmmmm.....

How do the Livestrong wings in hospitals fit into this conversation, if at all?

Are they actually doing what the are designed to do?

Is the name for exposure or is there a cut back to the foundation from the hospital or vice versa ??

If you try to send it back, the maitr'de will just claim you mishandled it and did not follow protocol :)

I can't believe this ******* in in business w/ Verbruggen. This sport is a rigged game, dammit. Its enough to make me want to watch a cleaner sport -- like boxing.

I doubt the guy even tweets for free. Fixed!

Who is buying all this yellow clad stuff from t-shirts,wrist bands, helmets, Nike everything? Who are all all these pro athletes and others who wear the yellow wrist bands? Why would people in Ireland,US and Australia show up in the 1000's when Lance tweets he is having a training ride?.It all so confusing. Knowing that Lance is pumping millions in jet fuel alone why wouldn't everybody from Greenpeace to the EPA be out to destroy him?

How many of them show up to protest Al Gore's jet fuel habit??

Good questions, but not a debate thread, thanks. The Twitter comment was only partially sarcastic since I have a strong suspicion that public figures get some kind of a quid pro quo for tweeting / net-presence.

Nope. It's just a superb marketing vehicle, particularly with the "recommended" following facilities.
