Think today suits Widar a lot more, Blackmore is expecting to just conserve (sort of how he did yesterday) and finish as high as possible for some good UCI points.

Interesting to see what Bisiaux can do here too, he looked pretty good yesterday but he did too much trying to follow and went into the red.

Widar attack was marked by Torres and the Dutch riders with Blackmore keeping his own pace and making it, now Leonard going off the front.

Torres should've probably ridden with him for a bit then dropped him, going like a truck here but there's motivation behind.

He was the only one that was capable of beating Widar on the startlist imho.

Widar should have followed him. This is now definitely advantage Torres for the overall win after stage 6.

Sure but Widar doesn't look superb either, not being able to drop Van Bekkum and Graat says something

Widar and Torres seem to be clearly the strongest.
A really solid race by Kajamini so far, 5th, 7th and 7th on the last 3 stages.

Sick/maybe covid at Burgos, hasn't recovered

He was very good in Czech to be fair so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that this isn't his level
There was an interview with him 3 days ago, after the opening ITT, in which he stated his ambitions to win the race. He's still in the race, even after losing more time on the second MTF, surely if he were sick they'd take him out of the race?

TBF, Torres gives me the better impression.

Torres is truly impressive. Also encouraging to see some fellow Dutchmen again that also thrill in riding above in stead of below sea level. It's been a while since some climbing talent has come through, we only produce sprinters nowadays.
