Campenaerts, as so often, doing the exact opposite of making use of Lotto's strength in numbers.

Yeah it's kind of the same mistake as last year. They also had a numerical advantage and then Campenaerts attacked. Atleast they have 2 now in the front group, but they probably should've waited till the peloton was completely out of it. There will be some sort of organization back there now.

Impressive ride from Van de Paar tho.

This is the part of the lap where the peloton needs to make (or rathe, reduce) the difference, second sector onwards it's harder to make up time with a big group.

Lol Lotto in same position as last year. Campenaerts at the front but the slowest of the group. Peloton cracked tho.

Campenaerts looks pretty done too.

Why are Stuyven, De Bondt and Biermans not trying to work together? They are all fast.

They could've had 40 seconds already if they were working together.

So Asgreen pulls and pulls, but when someone goes he doesn't follow?
Really weird, was the same when he was in the break.

Campenaerts ffs. He has no chance at winning this. But tbf, unlike last year they don't have anyone behind who can win either.

DSM is done, but front group doesn't work together so not over yet

I genuinly don't get what that front group is doing. WHy not elimate the peloton first?
