Well didnt expect this lol. Menten wow. I thought he was ill lmao. Deserved win from Lotto tho.

And painfull for Asgreen. He doesn't deserve this at all. Honeslty hope he wins a big one this year.

Arkea makes a BIG mistake there. Back to their lets finish with 2 guys in the top 5 without winning strategy.

Milan menten like a prime sagan with the finish. Campanaerts have to buy him some beers for that .

Trek tactics are so bad

Still confused as to what the guys in the front group were thinking tho. Campenaerts too btw, no way they expected Menten to win this.

To me it looked like a self-inflicted blunder. Sadly, but let's hope he's not seriously hurt.

Campenaerts ffs. He has no chance at winning this. But tbf, unlike last year they don't have anyone behind who can win either.

Well, this didn't age well... Understandable mistake though. You're forgetting that Lotto is now the winning team, QS the perpetual losers (at least in the northern classics). Must be some sort of Soudal magic.

Remember that time when Trek took Theuns to the Tour de France to switch between him, Stuyven and Mads Pedersen in the sprints?

Couldn't you substitute Theuns' and Stuyven's bames in that sentence and it would sound equally comical?

Yes absolutely. I think in a pure sprint Stuyven might be even slower than Theuns.

I still just cannot fathom that idea, especially when you had Mads Pedersen on your team.

To be fair, at that point, Pedersen had probably only done one or two really good bunch sprints in his life. That should of course have been enough for the management, though.
