god that team is hilarious to watch :D

A rider spends a significant amount of time away from the peloton in a break on a stage with multiple climbs is expected to be more fatigued the following stage than the rest of the gc contenders. It's not complicated.
no it's not. but they talk all kinds of hilarious stuff in interviews regarding this... so it is kinda complicated to their DS at least ;)

Bernal already gained 30 seconds on Thomas group.
Still great work by De Plus.

Poels is the biggest troll in the peloton. He always does this. Works, drops, comes back on to the riders chasing his team mates and then attacks just to rub it in.

Bernal is going to wait and pace Thomas up the MTF just you wait

How can people still think this... He's 2nd on GC, clearly the strongest climber and has attacked and dropped Thomas on what? 3 or 4 stages?

I guess Ineos will manage the 1st and 2nd without Froome as well.
Would they have gone for a 1-2-3 if Froome was there or would they had one of the three drop time to make it look more plausible?

That 15k valley is going to hurt Bernal. But it’s pretty much every many for himself at this point.
