Come on guys... Nibali is top contender. Valverde is a really strong opponent. Nibali can't just Valverde have Yelow plus 1.30-2 minutes advance esp. because he is not that much better TT than him.. We've seen before that even average riders (hello Pereiro) suddenly becomes top contenders after taking Yellow...
Sky just rode a comfort pace and didnt't really seem to care about Valverde. So what the other teams are expected to do ? Give Valverde free minutes just because they don't like Froome/Thomas/Sky ?

Do you really think Sky would have let Valverde go? Mind games clearly lost by Nibali here.

Hm.. Thomas is better TT rider than Valverde and has/had some advantage over him. So wouldn't be that bad giving 90 seconds to Valv.. esp because this could've kinda prevent Landa/Q attack.
