This is a very statesmanlike Wiggins on ITV today and I think he could make a great co-commentator in future.

I hope so because the usual commentators on ITV are awful. I'm always forced to watch the Italian or Spanish channel in streaming.

What is the expected limit today. With peloton taking it that easy, could the remaining sprinters have trouble with the last climb?

I think stuyven has this. The break won't cooperate perfectly but they must not lose any more time

Given the high speed, time cut should be over 40 minutes.

Well, maybe they are counting on him hitting the wall badly. But its not like they not working. With his weight in the downhill, he has a advantage over some riders from the second group. That's also why gorka couldn't catch him

Amador being in the break, on this stage, tells me Movistar don't think they can win the GC anymore, and are now going for stage wins as well.

If they actually wanted to win this stage they would have put Valverde in the break. Amador has a 0% chance of beating Alaphilippe for the stage win today. At this point I'm convinced Movistar has no clue whatsoever about what they are doing.

Who's the biggest challengers to Alaphilippe here? Caruso? Martinez?

If Alaphilippe is feeling good on the last climb there's no one in the break that can challenge him. The only ones who could are sitting back in the peloton.
