With the rest day ahead, I would expect some GC action on the last climb. A lot of riders will be unhappy with their current GC situation (Martin, Jungels, Fuglsang, Movistar) but they also won't be followed immediately by Sky. So with a good descent and one or two teammates up front there could be something like a minute or more relatively easy to gain here.

Also, G isn't the greatest descender, hence I could see Dumoulin or Rogla pressure him a bit, athough this is more unlikely.

Maybe I'm too optimistic, but for many riders this would be a wasted day if they didn't try anything as they will be on the backfoot in the Pyrenees anyway.

Think this could be the day that Wout Poels starts to shine in preparation for next week. He gonna drag Froome and G up that last climb at a blistering pace.

In this area of France they should put a flat stage every year because the mistral is always a factor. Today stage is a wasted one because in a medium mountain stage it's difficult to make a big selection using the wind.

It is ridiculous that Demare is still in this race, he should have been kicked out long time ago.

"What a disgrace"... don't be so dramatic. Yeah, he's joke, and he should be kicked out, but he also had almost no impact on the race so far.

Wishful thinking. They keep racing like this until the 2nd category climb. A team puts up a high pace on the climb. Sky disorganised for the last 100km.

True. Nadal's 5 best shots shown at least 500 times the last month, pathetic
